Private/small groups
Omkari Yoga will work with you privately or groups of up to 3 people. You may not wish to attend group classes or you have a sustained injury which you may need help with in a more private setting at a time that suits you. I would be happy to discuss your individual needs and tailor make a personal class for you, traveling to your home or workplace. Please contact me for a discussion
What To Expect?
A typical class will include asana (postures), pranayama (breathing exercises), hands-on adjustments & guided relaxation.
Please try not to eat anything up to 2 hours before the class. Bring a bottle of water. All mats and equipment provided or bring your own.
New to yoga? Whatever you've heard before or think we'd love to welcome you down to a class. We have people from all walks of life attending including professional sports people. It's friendly and most people feel the benefit after one class.
Corporate
Companies are seeing the value of workplace well-being programmes.
If you would like us to come into your workplace to teach a class in Bristol or the Southwest region. We can also hold employee sessions online. Enquire

Open to all abilities and those new to Yoga. The class will be gentle to increase body awareness, practicing basic yoga postures combined with breath awareness.
As you slow down the mind and increase your oxygen intake you will be taken through standing, lying and seated poses.
Tuesdays ( 7 WEEKS ONLY)

Start your day with balance and vitality in this energising morning class, designed to awaken both your body and mind. Hatha yoga focuses on aligning breath with movement, combining physical postures (asanas) and mindful breathing (pranayama) to cultivate strength, flexibility and mental clarity. Perfect for all levels, this morning session will help set a positive tone for the rest of your day, promoting relaxation, focus and overall
well-being.
Whether you're new to yoga or an experienced practitioner, this class offers a grounding and energising start to your day.
Booking for 7 or 4/3 weeks at a reduced price, otherwise Drop In is more.
Wednesday

Take time to nurture yourself at this midweek evening class. A grounding classic practice suitable for all levels of ability to feel nourished and restored.
We will work with the Sivananda Yoga sequence of postures to clear and shift stagnant energy in the body, increasing the ability to stretch and maintain your flexibility while also expanding your breathing capacity. Feel rooted, nourished and restored. Feel a peaceful quieter mind. The physical postures will also help soothe the nervous system, create emotional balance and sharpen your focus. Open to all levels of ability, if you have an experienced practice you will be challenged, if you are new to Yoga you will be given appropriate adjustments for some postures.

You will enhance the feeling of vitality through poses, breathing exercises and relaxation techniques.
We will improve the amount of oxygen taken into the body doing exercises and the relaxation can lower your heart rate which then increases your physical endurance. Calming the mind and breathing into the heart are a significant part of the practice. These classes also offer guidance to learn about yoga philosophy and values that you can take off the mat and into your daily life.
